I say the new species of "pony" was too narrow. I felt it should refer to any member of the pony-centric society. Which would make Iron Will qualify for the bingo.
A birthday is enough to count for Zecora, I don't care what the neigh-sayers claim. And Trollestia faces too much scrutiny these days. There's a lot we would have counted as trolling at the beginning of the fandom. In all that sense, I count 3 bingos. |

@PikaRobo I don't either, I really think that space is made for something like backstory or another talent. We didn't even get an exact date. On the subject of Trollestia, I think pulling a little joke like the brunch in "A Bird in the Hoof" would qualify for that spot, instead of just making a brief appearance. |

I say it's legit. We get:
- Spike calling himself a pony; - Matilda calling donkeys, zebras and cows with everypony pronoun; - and these guards from luna eclipsed. Any of these can pass for a "new pony species", ESPECIALLY the second one, because it's the show's perspective that gives definite proof, and not our consensus, or lack thereof, like with Trollestia. |

Spike calling himself a pony is something metaphorical, and should not be taken as literal. The batwinged ponies may still be considered pegasus, or maybe those wings were for decoration, nothing definite has been established about them. Cows and zebras were shown in the first season, as well as a mule which is a breed between horse and donkey, so nothing "new". Finally, while not the same age as Spike the dragons that were focused on in this episode, were established as teenagers, therefore still young. |
