Gemscale Dragon Once a proud and highly intelligent species of dragon, they were hunted by both Ponies and other Dragons for their unique "gem scales". These gemscales are like any naturally occurring gem, but are always of the highest quality. Over many centuries of being hunted they degenerated into a grotesque caricature of their former greatness with a greatly diminished intellect. Now that they are exceedingly rare, even by dragon standards, other dragon species keep them corralled as a breed able source of their favorite food. |
