Either way it goes, the studio shouldn't have to be intimidated to do what they want. People should stop taking the excessive complaints seriously anymore. Especially if the small number of haters and trolls get heard more than the fans.
What we can do is to show Hasbro that we are largely on their side, we are a positive force and we enjoy the show in a lighthearted way. They need to see that the fans got their back. |

I think this whole Derpy thing could have been resolved with a redemption scene where she does something incredibly competent, or something awesome in general. Because who would care what she sounds like after she reeled in a giant fish or saved somepony's life or something? |

That's nice. I think in entertainment overall, idiotic censorships shouldn't be a thing. I really hate it when something like this happens for anything. Yeah, it's okay to 'move on' with these either way. But I'm not okay with artistry being squashed on constant basis for little to no reason. Especially on TV and cartoons. Had to deal with this crap politics for too long. |
