Love how JJ isn't just putting out sketches for this series. It's fully digitally inked and it shows JJ's depth as a comicker this way. I love everything about this series + putting on continuity to everything now.
People joke about carpel tunnel syndrome for JJ, but damn, I draw one piece like this and I usually feel like my wrist if about to fall off. How the hell does he do it? |

I know I'm going to get hell for saying this, but I think JJ's talents would be a lot better spent on something other than drawing porn. |

I'm really trying not to get pissy here... Remember the huge Pony art upload JJ did a while back? The vast, vast majority were *squee*-inducing pony art. The truth is, he's actually going really deep into the cutesy, cuddly art in a major way and he's going really outside his comfort zone that way. All the while he does MULTIPLE tumblrs, multiple levels of rule 34, etc. I don't really understand that viewpoint at all. Just wait until the next huge batch of Pony art and be satisfied. Also, his history with doing erotic art is kind of like the progression of many character designers in Japan who start out doing erotica and then get commissioned to do other types of art. Like that art designer for Last Exile (Range Murata) and Ghost in the Shell (Shirow Masamune). Plus, aren't any of you guys been enrolled in a series of art classes? A ton of artists (including me) indulge in drawing nude or some level of erotica. It's just fantasy and for fun. I can understand if that stuff isn't for everyone, but JJ clearly enjoys it. I sympathize with that. |
