I gotta agree with DaisyHead, all he seems to do now is Molestia, humanizations and humanized porn. It also doesn't help that he produces them so quickly so you get even further numbed to his work.
The only time he really seems to draw actual cute pony pics is after an episode. |

I think "perfect" is a stretch. I don't really like the way he draws mouths. But other than that, I can't fault for the quality he gets at the speed he works at.
When he pushes himself though, he gets some amazing results. |

I disagree. 90% of JJ's stuff is still pony art. You guys are being dramatic about nothing. Just enjoy fun art as they come along. Don't get so worked up into being a critic about everything. |

Maybe so. Still the number of pony art he does is still pretty high overall, because of the sheer number of the he does. Also, it's fine if you don't like humanization. Just sick and tired of meta pointing out what is clearly JJ's forte. |

I make these meta pictures because for one thing, if I want to complain about something I'd AT LEAST like to make it humorous. But it always feels like if you're not JJ, Megasweet, Cartoonlion, Kevinsano, Kloudmutt, or Crookedtrees, then your art isn't worth checking out. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE all these artists. (A couple I even liked before ponies, </hip>) But I browse Ponibooru and see a lot of neat amateur pictures or even pro pictures by artists who just aren't as well-known, and then anons come out of nowhere and go "Her neck can't turn that far" or "That one nipple makes the entire picture look awful" and I just think "Okay give him a break." But THEN an art celebrity comes along and draws every single good idea an episode gives off in a day; they're certainly great pictures and there's nothing wrong with an artist being good but even if quantity is also quality there's still just SO MUCH of it all. It's like, just take a second and have a sandwich, man! |

I'm not bashing anyone. As I said, it's satirical - and I'm doing it because I like the artist and feel that I can joke about him and the fact that I see so much more of his art than anybody else on here.
I'd never bash an artist, even if they were really bad at drawing or even attention-whoring. But some days it just feels like I shouldn't even try drawing a good idea because one of the top artists already did the same thing and people are just gonna say "this is a ripoff of Artist X". Can't draw dark stuff if you're not Crookedtrees. Can't draw sexy stuff if you're not JJ. Can't draw cute stuff if you're not Megasweet. I do my best to be lighthearted about it but in all honesty I think it's a pressing issue. |
