Morral of the story, stop giving money to Itunes, Apple.inc are an evil corporation.
Instead buy ponies, money goes straight to Hasbro, the other big and probably evil corporation. |

has $ bro, really dude xD |
| Anonymous #1143847 4 months ago |
That's kinda how the system works.
It's unfair to expect Hasbro to continue to make a show it keeps losing them money. It is a business after all. |
| TheShrubberyDemander #1143848 4 months ago |
>show get's cancelled
Thi's 'sound's like it would be bad, to 'say the lea'st |
| AppleDash #1143851 4 months ago |
I would say Hasbro isn't evil, they are just chaotic neutral. |
| Gittonsxv #1143854 4 months ago |
hasbro make better toys
better toys = more sales more sales = more money money = more ponys |
| Anonymous #1143861 4 months ago |
How dare Hasbro demand something in return for the money they have put into MLP:FM
Those greedy bastards. |
| ProfessorOfHoers #1143876 4 months ago |
I do buy the toys so I'm good.
I make them kiss. |

I'm buying a White Celestia when it comes out. My wife is buying a Zecora.
That, and we're looking into buying stock in Hasbro. I mean, we play Magic, D&D, and love ponies. Might as well. |
| Yurp #1143899 4 months ago |
i like how 'logic' is a tag |
| SpecialAnon #1143919 4 months ago |
You can't force me to buy something I don't want to buy(even if I am a brony). What are you, the government?! |
| Ginger_Fig #1143922 4 months ago |
If you want to support the program by purchasing toys, but don't want to decorate your home with rainbow colored ponies just donate them to Toys for Tots or some other charitable group. |
| Saint_Braeburn #1143932 4 months ago |
I'm torn
On one hand Hasbro deserves compensation for what they have done. The average animated episode costs around 100,000 dollars and people to need the toys revenue to make a living. On the other hand all of Hasbro's toys come from Chinese factories. The exception being one factory in the USA and one factory in Ireland. To make matters worse in 2007 Hasbro's Chinese suppliers were charged with abusing there employees , labor violations, and maintaining unsafe working conditions.However it should be noted that Hasbro has little control over its Chinese suppliers. So, what do I do? |

Funny thing is. MLP ponies has always been a solid seller for Hasbro. They should at least try a pony toy line where it is show accurate. I wish Good Smile Company has a crossover promotion so they can try a realistic cartoon line of even a nendoroid |
| Zancrow #1143974 4 months ago |
I can't unsee that troll face in Hasbro's logo... |
| Saint_Braeburn #1143990 4 months ago |
Someone should add "capitalism" to the tags.
@Zancrow YOU SEE IT TOO? |
| Dr_Robotnik #1144003 4 months ago |
I don't care where the toys are made. They're still as ugly as real horses. The snouts always make me think of a derped-out Yoshi, not ponies. I mean, come on! Their hair looks like someone took some random hair and stuck it in there, not like in the show at all!
I dunno, maybe I'm weird, thinking that the pony toys are butt-fugly. That's my opinion though, and I'm sticking with it. |

@Saint
Yeah!!! Trollfaces, trollfaces everywhere |

Robotnik, I mostly agree though it us hilarious how a 3$ Happy Meal pony looks better than the 'deluxe' figures |
| Gundlach #1144055 4 months ago |
I though ratings affect show success, not merchandising. |
| CottonTales #1144075 4 months ago |
@Gundlach
Not when its a show made to sell something |
| Anonymous #1144348 4 months ago |
I already bought the mane 6 brushables, and i'm waiting for white Celestia to hit latinamerican stores. |
| Dr_Robotnik #1144369 4 months ago |
@Anon 1144047
I know, right? I could care less about brushable hair on something that's still just a hunk of effing plastic with hair sticking out of it. I guess a plushy with brushable hair makes a little sense, but not the plastic ones. And would it kill them to at least TRY to make the hair somewhat similar to the show style? Just close enough so little girls can wreck it like the dumb little monstrosities they are, while older fans can be satisfied too. As it is, it looks like someone ripped out some pubes, dyed them, and glued them to a toy. The lack of brushable hair just is not a big deal to me. I prefer them to look like what they're friggin' based off of, first and foremost. Just a note, I doubt you'll ever forget that wonderful image I just gave you. |
| -Lunacy #1145387 4 months ago |
They're all replicas of each other pony because they think little girls can't tell the difference between recolors. imo
One nice custom figurine or plushie can eBay for more than a number of their sales. |
| Anonymous #1145478 4 months ago |
@Dr Robotnik
Because the toys are made for four year old girls who like to brush dolly hair, not bronies. |
| Vree #1146352 4 months ago |
Is this gonna be another stupid rally?
"Hey my super secret source says that if we buy enough Pink Celestia's they're gonna make Derpy a protagonist in the 4th season" Dream on. |
| Vree #1146889 4 months ago |
But you do know that they also get royalties for the use of their brand from advertisement time and DVD sales right? I mean, toys are a huge part of it, yes, but as long as the profit from those and other products are above the production costs it should not matter if you buy toys or not. And in a way it's their job to find the deals that will get those profits.
So do not worry too much about those. On a side note, did everyone notice how appealing to customer loyalty is now an effective marketing method? Long ago when you put the face of a pony or a candy you'd do it because you hoped the positive associations will convince the buyer that the candy is good. Nowadays, you can tell them that if they are buying the joint product, they are supporting the original work. Which is really just another way of advertising really. |
