So basically I was feeling a little down lately and like maybe there's some folks here who don't like me. But that's ok. it's always been my philosophy, as is said in the dhammapada, that hate can never overcome hate. Only love can.
So, because I love you all so much, I have decided to make every Thursday a user appreciation day. I've stared off the shebang with our most famous user, Roboshi. I always want to keep up and foster good will and this is my attempt at starting a tradition of that! I want to pick out a regular here every Thursday and let them know that I appreciate them! |

Sometimes spelled Dharmapada it's a Buddhist text. It's opening statement says that Hate only begets hate and that only non-hate (meta, love) can overcome it. In other words... returning any frustration one feels with love or at least trying to overcome despair with appreciation for others. |
