Also I should feel I should mention that all of the mane cast have the same face and body model in the show itself, and all the bg ponies are recolors of each other.
Also if you've seen JJ's artwork, he draws a helluva lot more than just people. |

This 'issue' is not brought up by most artists in this fandom. look at all the birthday tribute art JJ got. That said, his art is still evolving. He actually changed his style several times, albeit in subtle ways.
I think mister tsundere for JJ went into some spat with JJ over commissions which is why he just seems so bitter about it. It is not even about defending any artist. That anon needs to chill and stop being so obsessed. I almost feel sorry for the guy.... unless he IS JJ and we're trolled hard |

Oh yeah, well YOUR opnion != fact. It's not particularly bad, it's mostly that it's not "OMGBBQSOGOOD" as most people seem to think. His art is bland, unimaginative, with poor anatomy and variance. The perspectives and poses used are usually poorly executed and there is rarely any energy on the drawings, even when action is taking place. Now, before anyone goes "Your art suffers from the same problems". Well, duh, it's the very reason i can see them, they remind me of my own crap. |

His art is plenty fun and is varied though sexuality, continuous storylines (molestia, Daring Do, requests, pop culture references, etc etc). And I disagree bigtime he doesn't do great proportions and perspectives. The only times proportions for his art falters is if he doesn't devote 100% into a particular art, which he rarely does because he has such high workload + most of his stuff are quickie sketches. I actually think wild perspectives is his strong suit and there's many great examples. Many artists don't dare go into the types of perspectives JJ is known to do. It's not perfect, but he's fearless about using perspectives. >Now, before anyone goes "Your art suffers from the same problems".
