Seeing as how hasbro is a company (read "money vacuum") if they see a source of money they're going to keep it around as long as possible. Basically what I'm saying is that another G3.5 abomination is pretty much guaranteed not to happen unless someone screws something up hard. |

XD now, seriously, I think people will react like at the end of the movie "the truman show". Some will be happy because watched something great, others will be very sad because that won't never be again on TV, and, some people will just say "meh, let's watch some other channel" But I think The brony fandom will last more than the actual cartoon, with its fanarts, fanfics, and, naturally, its ideals ;-) |

The fandom will probably shrink, but still have a large enough following like all other classic shows do. Anyway, it's not something to worry about anytime soon seeing as how the current MLP is a definite moneymaker for Hasbro. |

Hasbro have been producing My Little Pony cartoons on and off for nearly 30 years, starting with the original series, which ran from 1984-1987, followed by a five year lapse, then Tales in 1992. After 11 more years, they started a series of G3 shorts which ran from 2003-2010. Although Friendship Is Magic has been an enormous success thanks to its unexpected brony following, it was probably intended to last only a few years. Still, even if it ends soon, animation has always been an integral part of the My Little Pony franchise, so unless Hasbro suddenly discontinue the franchise, we'll always have some pony animation to look forward to. Weather they continue to produce quality cartoons or decide to go back to the strictly-for-little-girls format of the G3 productions will determine how long the brony fandom lasts. |

I intend, once it's all said and done, to continue life as always, letting the lessons learned throughout the run influence my life for the better.
Maybe one day this whole MLP thing will fade to obscurity, but as long as people here can take away the good messages and use them to help themselves and others, even years in the future where we've all moved on and forgetten it, then it will be worthwhile. Then again, Hasbro might just say "You know what? Let's keep milking this." By season five all the ponies will have discovered that they have distant Princess decendents they didn't know about just in time for Hasbro's "Princess Castle Playset" or whatever to come out... |
