Infact the long history of the beta male can be traced back to neanderthal roots. The Alpha males got the most women and went to go hunt mammoths and sabertooths. The Beta males consoled the wives and told them they were totally pretty and got pity sex. Thus when the Alpha males were eaten or injured while leading the pack, the Beta males could console the woman more and perhaps make them think the nice guy is the best they are going to get. Very scientific. |
