Ponies can heal a lot of wounds... I used to be depressed with School and other stuff in my life... But now, all the art, music, videos and charity work I see bronies do, make me want to be a better person and contribute to the world. Be it by a simple drawing to make a person laugh. A game for a small kid. Or even a simple mention or joke from the show. I can make any of my friends smile and laugh, and have great times with them. In the end... Isn't that all that matters?

I find it saddening how most kids today are too thin skinned to take bullying anymore. I was bullied in High School and I didn't try offing myself over it. Bullying is a fact of life that people need to deal with. It was sad, but (in my opinion) it was the coward's way out. inb4 People telling me how much of a heartless monster I am for having an opinion. :3

Ponies cheer us up of course, otherwise we wouldn't be fans. But when it comes to serious matters like this, you have to do more than just escaping back to a comfort zone. I believe these guys tried what they could through their browsers, but someone close to her had to get her and help. Sadly, the only ones to blame are the assholes who bullied her, and just simply not looking for other ways than the easy way out. Ah well.

@519 The body cells stay alive after a while, that includes the muscles if they were tightly contrated. Rigor mortis then sets in and makes the mucles of the body to tighten even more, until up to 3 days when the body starts to go limp

@Anon 521 I know. But she had support from her friends and family. Those guys tried to cheer her up by resorting to what she loved, and by the looks of it, had contact with the parents of the girl. I think it's safe to assume her family tried her best to help her, but it wasn't enough. It's sad, but what happened, happened. No one should feel guilty about it.

A friend of mine at school die of drug overdose and from jumping from his balcony. I didnt feel absolutely anything. And i was worried that maybe i was some kind of heartless person or something, but i didnt know that behind my lack of entusiasm to do stuff and eat i was exactly doing what i thought i wasnt doing, mourning.

You know this kinda makes me think. The people who drove here into this will probably end up with minor or no consequences. She will be classified as unstable blah blah shit. I would take those assholes to the morgue and let them stare. Let them stare on the dead body and ask them if they're happy now, if they're having fun like they had before. I would ask them if they feel cool for driving another human into suicide... yeah... that would be appropriate.

Also has the emotional factor of the fluttershy toy which was held by her even after her death. I dont know...

I'm conflicted on this. first of all its a horrible thing that someone was bullied and that they committed suicide (if this is real I don't care it actually happens) but on the other hand I hate these stories because I don't care for people who can take bullying. I don't mean to offend but suicide, because of being bullied, is the dumbest way to deal with the problem. also this shit about "its fake, how could she be holding a toy". who care this story may be fake but this stupid stuff happens. The bullies aren't justified. but neither should the person who killed them self people need to understand that the opinions of other don't matter in high school. we need to evolve to get thicker skin or learn that others don't matter at this time in our lives. words don't matter. (this is all assuming verbal which is a safe assumption)

You just did :) But, seriously what I meant with that comment is that it feels hypocritical that someone who just called the girl a coward for taking her own life , was suddenly criticizing us for talking about the legitimacy of one of the claims that this writer makes. I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong idea; because of the the way I worded response. And I still stand by what I said about the Fluttershy doll issue. Rigor Mortis (which usually takes 2-6 hours) would not have set in fast enough for her body to retain it's grip on doll. Especially since she hung herself, since physically, hanging bodies cause gravity to hold the process of muscle contraction.Because of this the story becomes less credible in my own opinion. Also, does anyone remember the Ballon Boy Hoax. Just because a story is tragic doesn't make it automatically true.

During my childhood, people have also bully me, but for different reason. I stayed strong, but I too could have to take my life for the pain to stop as her. Today, having grown up with it, I became a better person, but I pay full price. If I have one wish, it would be that we can teach philosophy at the elementary, because it will teach children to have the habit of thinking of the consequences of actions that may have other instead of acting without thinking about others .

I will say thus. I wished that person would of been a bit more thick skinned and tough. But since they weren't I'm sorry. If there is someone who is that determined that even some of their favorite things can't cheer them up or dissuade them, there's nothing that's going to stop them save being too doped up to move. Someone I know whom had and has..tendencies filled their bedroom with pictures of their friends and family members they liked. When ever they got toward dark thoughts, they just looked at each picture trying to think of how he justify his actions to them. He never could come up with any.

This could be true but people have made suicide stories up to gain simpathy/attention before and romanticized situations such as the doll are a good tell. That said, if this is true then someone should have gotten her professional help if she even brought up commuting suicide.

Wow that really sad. I offer my deepest condolences. I know I used to be bullied a lot when I was younger and I had....thoughts. But I guess I was to scared to kill myself. So I just learned to ignore the insults and eventually they stopped, after I had a breakdown in class. But everybody's different. Her mother should have probably seen the signs but she may have been good at hiding her emotions. Again I offer my deepest condolences.

Strange,I was bullied as well.But instead of hurting myself I wanted to hurt the ones who bullied me.Thankfully I realized on time that doing that wasn't going to make me happy.I became stronger and a better person. My brother's case was different.He stood up against his bully and strangely,he became friends with him.It happened that the bully was jealous of us because he believed we were rich (wtf)He was (and sadly,still is) a man with a lot of resentment because the enviroment in which he grew up wasn't a very easy one.He's a good person though.My brother became a better person as well. So yes,I agree that everybody is different and everybody has different ways to deal with things(some better than others,I still feel for the girl,though...I wish her situation could have been dealt better).
