Warming Up just tends to drag on forever without really getting anywhere (perhaps a necessity to get Spike with everypony, but it sure takes its sweet time with things like teleportation sikkness and Celestia's sex preparations and story), and it seems someponies (like CELESTIA ffs) do things without thinking them thru, and are inconsistent with their actions.
The last chapter is really where I think things fall apart. It's basically Twilight calling out the other ponies who were stupid out of character jerks, then they're all "yep, now let's spend twenty minutes forgiving each other" (half of them not being responsible at all, yet they all seem to want to apologize equally as much). Also the issue of Twilight having sex with Spike being illegal, and whether that law will continue to be enforced after Celestia herself had sex with Spike while supposedly not under his influence, was apparently forgotten except for giving her a pardon. |
