I could imagine that they show up in heavy clothes, talking about how hard they worked on their beach bodies, then go through a dramatic disrobing scene which ends abruptly because naked is normal for ponies. |

Pretty in Pink has a lot of potential. Pinkie falling in love with a Canterlot pony of all ponies however...
What can make this work out better is if Pinkie embarrasses Rarity with her Pinkieness while she was having brunch with Fancy Pants. Being Fancy Pants, he finds Pinkie to be quite interesting and invites both ponies to a very fancy dinner party. The episode is then spent on Rarity trying her best to make Pinkie a "proper" lady. Hilarity pursues. |

Questions: How would the Rainbow Dash split-thing work? She only has six colors in her hair, so...would the copies all have one color each and the original is just blank/greyscale? And would the clones each be a different aspect of her personality, or would it just be six identical-thinking RDs flying around in half a dozen different directions? Love the idea behind Pretty In Pink, but Pinkie just doesn't seem like the type to have romantic inclinations. To me, anyway... Assuming it's Sweetie Belle trying the teleportation spell: I get that Rarity is her sister and she'd be more likely to try spending time with her, but why not ask Twilight for help when SHE'S clearly the much more proficient user of such magic? What makes Fluttershy want to try golf all-of-a-sudden? No matter how quiet the crowds may be, sports just don't seem like her thing... How opposite of Twilight are we talking? If it's loud, boisterous, and hyper, Pinkie or Rainbow could easily fill the same spot. And how would the story be resolved? Would the shadow-clone have to accept her fate and return to forever being anothers' shadow; or would she be free to go off and make her way in the world? And what exactly is the opposite of Magic as a special skill? No real questions regarding a musical episode; just hope that such a plot would be set in motion by a character not unlike the Music Meister. (Any who don't know who that is, look him up. He's freakin' awesome as a character.) |
