@Van_Horsing Good to see I'm not the only one. But for those of you critical about all 3 movies you have to concede that Steve Jablonsky did a fantastic Job with the soundtrack.

Please. You're just saying that 'cause it's not GEEWUN. Every single element you complain about the live action movies having was also present in your precious GEEWUN.
Rampant character death? GEEWUN had it too in the movie. Bad jokes? How are sex jokes any better than dialogue worthy of an Imma channel? The worst part is that GEEWUN takes it seriously. No plot? I'm sorry, but when did variations on "Megatron tries to steal energy, fails, GOTO 10" become plot? Or how about "Starscream tries to become leader, fails, GOTO 10"? Too little focus on the Transformers? When you can think of a way that doesn't make the CGI look bad compared to the humans while still giving time to the robots, then you can complain. Besides, Devastator melted a computer. Bad characterization? What were you watching? GEEWUN had only a voice and a single dimension of personality. None of the characters were complex at all. Nobody looks like how they 'should'? Yes, and Optimus should be a trukk, not some stupid munkey. In other words, if it looks similar enough, it'll be alright. Besides, would you prefer a blue car named Wheeljack, or to lose the trademark to Wheeljack altogether? So when GEEWUN does all those faults it's okay, but when the live action movies do it it rapes your childhood? I'm sorry, no. Rewatch those old episodes OBJECTIVELY next time, with all their animation errors, formulaic plots, and flat characterization. See if you still like it. |

I hate gen-1 transformers. I'm glad that was before my time, because it kinda sucked. That anon up there was dead on with my reasons for not liking it. It's on the same tier as He-man: quite possibly the most ridiculous show in the worst possible way. I know you're probably going to say that I'm 10 or something for saying this but, I like Transformers: Prime the most right next to Transformers: Cybertron and Transformers: Animated. Prime because it's rather bad-ass; Cybertron for the diversity of the different terrains and animal transformers; and Animated because it gets into the characters back-stories very deeply and whatnot. |

Are you kidding me? Cybertron, Armada and Energon SUCKED! To me the only good Transformers shows were G-1 and its movie, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Animated and Prime. |
