Far from it. I always felt that it was silly that they "killed off," or rather defeated each majour villain at the start of the season. I mean, I can get behind that, kids' show and all, but still. |

League of villains? But we only had like... 3 villains.
Nightmare Moon, Discord and the Diamond Dogs. Trixie wasn't evil. Gilda wasn't evil, maybe a little. Flim and Flam weren't evil. #1129415 This is better, I'd love to see more one-shot characters returning. |

Never going to happen, their aims and motivations are far too different to cooperate. They don't even have a common enemy, so there's no "kill the batman" reason for them to band together either.
A few of them might be compatible, but overall no chance. |

I'm not sure if they would work well together if they team up.
They are all so different and have different goals. I could only imagine Trixie and Gilda coming back in the same episode, but instead of teaming up they would rather fight each other, or so. Or perhaps the diamond dogs could've caught Trixie, and try to get her to find them some gems. |

Hmm ... not really, I can't see any reason for any of the antagonists to work together or really seek revenge.
What, on the other hand, could be interesting would be an episode where they all meet each other and become friends, to show that each one of them learned their lesson. Trixie not showing off as much, Gilda being nice, Blueblood being a gentlecolt etc. etc. etc. It could give closure to the question "Whatever happened to XYZ after the Episode ?" Of course ... it's much more fun to leave it open to fanfictions. There're so many great FFs with Trixie, I especially like the one about Trixie becoming Friends with Fluttershy. Huh, surprising amount of love for the Diamond Dogs. This is good because I always liked the Dogs but they get so little fan representation.
I mean I can think of at least a couple of fanfics that try and paint Blueblood as something other then a complete douche, and he's, well Prince Blueblood. You'd figure the Diamond Dogs could get something. |

My vision for the League of Villains: someone is trying to gather the antagonists to get revenge on the Mane Cast. They get rejected as follows:
Gilda: That is the lamest idea I've ever heard. Trixie: The Great And Powerful Trixie has better things to do than to seek revenge on some paltry little town! Diamond Dogs: NO WHINING!!! Blueblood: Who? Flim & Flam: We're managed to get a cider deal already. Discord: As entertaining as that would be, I'm currently stuck inside a statue. Nightmare Moon: Kinda busy being destroyed and all. |
