Gakuen Alice is a manga about children with super powers that are hunted down and taken to an academy in which they can't leave, only when they are adults. And if they try to leave they will be used as weapons by a liberation front against the academy. |

Subaru and Hotaru relation ship siblings is hard. First Subaru was taken when he was 5 to the academy. Then a several years later Hotaru was born and got chosen by the academy because of her power, their parents fled and they were found again so they only had the option to give her up.
Back in the academy nobody knew that they were Siblings, and they got very competitive after they met on a festival within the compound. |
