^Because the Smurfs are basically the generic marines, hence the Codex Astartes telling them to be a jack-of-all-trades style force with no particular mastery over one thing.
...unfortunately, Matt Ward apparently interprets "cover all the basics" as "LOL WE'RE AWESOME AT EVERYTHING." I'd recommend playing the SPESS MAHREEN PC game or reading Graham McNeil's book series if you want to see awesome but not invincible Ultramarines. |
