He was an inspiration for a lot of artist, from comics and from art in general. Fucking genius, at least he lived to see his work in the world.
Just one trivia: Moebious was commisioned to make the art of the spaceship Nostromo, the alien ship and the art of the characters in the movie Aliens. |

For anyone unfamiliar with who Jean Giraud (aka Moebius) is, the following article is a must-read, especially if you're a Sci-Fi fan. Heck, even if you're familiar with him, you should read it anyway.
