None of the tumblr blogs have well-developed storylines. 95% are just ponies looking cute with some backstory thrown in just because. I mean, look at Ask Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie by SpeccySY. That's almost entrely cute ponies doing cute things with zero storyline, but no one pisses over that.
The bottom line is that most MLP ask blogs aren't meant to be grand pieces of art with impeccable storytelling and perfect comedic sensibility. They're to provide a quick laugh or daww when you check them on your phone during a commercial break. |

That's because foalcon and rape, and all that other stuff is marked explicit. However Futashy is only marked questionable, so someone who doesn't know how to use filters will see it regardless, as it is not filtered out for them default. |
