My Prediction: Shining Armor joined the Royal Guard and he's been away in distant lands for a while. He met Princess Cadence, the ruler of a small neighboring country (perhaps a protectorate of Equestria) while on assignment and they fell in love. I would be pleased with a scenario like that. |
