Season 1's theme was more unrefined and punchy, and it did it a favour.
Season 2's theme has added softness to it, so even during the main bulk of the theme, it sounds more like rolling in cotton candy than freefalling through a storm of big adventure. It kinda makes it seem more "girly". |

Well, I admit I skipped the opening theme most of the time, but I do like it.
The extended version is actually pretty cute. But I listen to the Alex S and General Mumble remix versions more often |

I hate introduction sequences, they serve no purpose other than to waste my time. When you have ahalf hour slot and you spend 8 minutes on adverts, are using 2 minutes for an intro and another 2 minutes on the credits you have about 18 minutes left
SERIOUSLY out of 30 minutes of broadcast television, only 18 of those are the program itself. When watching on my 'puter, I skip that and I can watch 3 "half hour" episodes every hour. Except My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. I dunno why, but I sing along every episode. Its just.... dunno, great I guess |
