Sethiso is(or perhaps was, if making a small living off running a pony site can't cheer you up, I don't know what will) a severely depressed furry who was obsessed with the female dragon from the later Spyro games. Between roleplaying where it wasn't wanted, acting very creepy vis a vis the dragon, and being annoying in general, he was run out of several online habitats.

Then he clamped onto the pony thing, becoming obsessed with Trixie, and eventually started EqD. Part of the dislike for it is that being the most popular aggregate info site, it's made him the face of the brony movement despite him being a poster child for many of the negative stereotypes. Additionally, he and his staff have a track record of not verifying news before running it like fact, posting speculative bits that are guaranteed to cause shitstorms, or throwing fuel on such fires.

^ Of course everyone forgets that he's trying his best, rarely posts anything about female dragons on the site, has made fun of his Trixie obsession several times, puts dozens of hours into a site that earns him little if any cash and gets thousands of pounds of hatemail (like the shit this Op's been posting) as a reward.
