So if you kill a gorgon in human mythology, a pegasus springs forth. Does that mean if you killed a gorgon pony, that an angel would spring forth? |

Y'know, with all these mythological monsters roaming all over Equestria, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Gorgon (what Medusa is) show up in Season 3. |

We already had a cockatrice, so the whole "turning ponies to stone" business might be a little redundant.
