I'm with 731 here, those adverts pay for PonyBoorus servers to stay active, and as much as we all know that PBs servers are terrible slow sometimes, we are not footing the bill.
I'm happy to leave those adverts alone so that PB survives. |

Look, the ad is still there, and barely any of us click it. So what would matter if we use Adblock if we're not going to click on any ad whatsoever? Besides, the ad was already paid for, so PB still gets money, and the poor suckers who advertise still pay without knowing that we'll never click them, but they're not important, so everybody else wins! |

Yeah, Some_anon is right. Using ABP doesn't change anything. Plus, on a site where people have been known to sometimes post gore or NSFW images in the comments (and some may not want to see that) it can be invaluable in hiding that kind of stuff. |
