Fun fact:
The whole point of this show was for it to be enjoyable to both children and adults so that they could both sit down and watch it at the same time. This is a similar ethos to how Pixar films are made. The Twilight series of books was aimed at young adults solely to be entertaining. The difference here is that when a brony enjoys the show, it's because there's a part of it that he or she was meant to enjoy. And the team have since filled the show with references to cater for them. Those Twilight mums are there without their children and one or two probably schlick away to posters of the cast while their daughters go off and do drugs or something. The show tries to teach us that friendship is the answer. The Twilight series teaches us that trying to get in with the (sparkly) bad boys is the best life choice you can make. Ultimately, we should take a page from Pinkie's book and try to make friends with them and then steadily show them what their lifestyle is doing to them. However, I feel salvation might be beyond this lot... |
