no one has put up for crappy unicorn? These other guys that have been mentioned all have good quality, fast and regular updates, and manage to consistently amuse, but from a purely artistic perspective, CU pretty much blows everyone else out of the water. |

Mmmkay, analysis time.
There are quite a number of artists that can make a difference with the others. John Joseco's obviously one of the best, in both style and catching the characters. I agree, I'd let him draw humanized Applejack, because JJ's Applejack is mega-hot. Megasweet's art is very cool and hot (yes, it sorta makes sense!), but the humanized ponies are quite OOC. So, sadly, no MS in my list. Same thing for shiko-k: she draws only lesbian shippings! thelivingmachine02's art is very fun to see, but too cartoon-ish to my taste. Another no. Same stuff for a classic like MadMax, applestems and kprovido. Gomigomipomi, on the contrary, is perfect for the role. I'd let her draw Rainbow Dash. Same choices so far. I also agree that HazuraSinner's cute art is perfect for Fluttershy. A list wouldn't be complete without GlancoJusticar. He can draw Rarity, which is actually a very difficult character to catch. Rainbow Dash would be another good choice. Semehammer would be good for Pinkie Pie, I think. Her style fits the pink pony perfectly. And in the end I'd let WhirlyWillow draw humanized Twilight Sparkle. I like her serious representation of TS. A mentionable artist is uc77, but he drew too few humanized ponies to be judged about it. The same applies to gavalanche, Jay Naylor's top notch quality (yeah, I said Jay Naylor... say what you want, but art is art; if I have to choose one for him, it would be Applejack, anyway), SpeccySY, solar-slash and many other which may be a feast for the eye or for the smile but can't belong to this list. Ugh, it was very hard... and tiring... fatigue... a little hnnng...  |
