Why cant people use the goddamn dd/mm/yy like 90% of the planet does? |
| Questionmarktarius #1105025 4 months ago |
Are you suggesting Quindecimtober isn't a real month? |
| AppleDash #1105032 4 months ago |
I personally prefer yyyy/mm/dd
It is easier to use for historical purposes. |
| MaroonBunyip #1105036 4 months ago |

| Anonymous #1105041 4 months ago |
Why cant 90% of the planet just use mm/dd/yy like I do? |
| Anonymous #1105044 4 months ago |
^Only if it has anything to do with ponies |
| MaroonBunyip #1105050 4 months ago |
DAMN IT APPLEDASH!

| Anonymous #1105051 4 months ago |
FEBTOBER! |
| AppleDash #1105055 4 months ago |
But really what happened on this date I can't think of anything important |
| Anonymous #1105056 4 months ago |
@041
because its retarded. And makes you look like a pretentious hipter |
| Karadros #1105060 4 months ago |
I don't know what this is! Should I?
Bloody Americans. Almost as bad as Australians. |
| gashunk #1105066 4 months ago |
...I don't know what that date corresponds to... |
| Anonymous #1105067 4 months ago |
@Gashunk Gashunk Gashunk Gashunk* |
| AppleDash #1105068 4 months ago |
@016
Actually my way yyyy/mm/dd is the most common on the planet. China and most of Asia, as well as some of eastern Europe us it commonly, some officially. |
| Anonymous #1105077 4 months ago |
@056
Wait, does that mean that all Americans are pretentious hipsters? |
| Anonymous #1105096 4 months ago |
Guys.
What is this date. I don't even. |
| OF29 #1105099 4 months ago |
>Not one comment about the pic.
Never change, Ponibooru. |
| isthachakena #1105107 4 months ago |
I love how nobody understands this. |
| AppleDash #1105108 4 months ago |
I just looked it up... the DVD was announced, and the title of The Last Roundup was leaked? Is that it?
Pinkie and Discord winning the Naughty or Nice competition could be it, but I think that was on the 16th. |
| Anonymous #1105114 4 months ago |
>niles_armstrung_on_the_MOOON
I fucking lol'd. |
| PhilSrobeighn #1105158 4 months ago |
First of all, why you all abbreviate month names is beyond me. dd MMMM yyyy FTW.
Secondly, this is obviously in yy/dd/mm. "Shall" is future tense. "Must" is an imperative, commanding that we can't let this date fade in the interim. |
| Draconequus #1105164 4 months ago |
I prefer mm/yy/dddd.
I mean, I don't know when my birthday is, but it works. |
| Some_Anon #1105171 4 months ago |
>December/15/2011
The date that Obama welcomed returning soldiers that served in the Middle East? |
| FeralSocks018 #1105200 4 months ago |
Are we seriously having a debate on proper dating systems?
Fuck that, sounds boring. |
| Some_Anon #1105240 4 months ago |
@FeralSocks018: This is the Internet. Proper dating systems are serious business. |
| PandaCoon #1105255 4 months ago |
Erm, Phil, I think the "shall" is meaning that we can't let the date that passed fade in the future.
So the subject is the past date, but it is in future tense, meaning, "We must not let this past date go forgotten." If that makes sense. Time is difficult. |
| Draconequus #1105270 4 months ago |
I think OP means that every brony in the future will know about this date and remember it.
I think... |
| Anonymous #1105287 4 months ago |
I personally prefer this format: 0.0.0.0.0 (b'ak'tun . k'atun . tun . winal . k'in) |
| Some_Anon #1105292 4 months ago |
Hey... what if it's actually the year 2015, and that on either November 12th or December 11th, something will shake the very core of the fanbase? Think about it... maybe we're screwed. It's probably the date when the show finale airs... or I don't know, Lauren Faust dies?
... fuck, am I gonna regret this post if the second one happens. |
| Anonymous #1105351 4 months ago |
A shitstorm came down... over the differences of dating systems?
Ponibooru, you never cease to amaze me |
| Itsosimple #1105362 4 months ago |
I think OP is a troll and knew that this pointless debate over how a date should be arranged would happen and is now sitting back in their chair, stroking their chin and celebrating a troll gone well. |
| PandaCoon #1105363 4 months ago |
Ponibooru.
Where you can post pictures of ponies, but not talk about the ponies. |
| Anonymous #1105372 4 months ago |
OP Here.
I'm actually very surprised that you all got into this debate. I was actually wondering what the date meant, because some of my friends and I were confused about it. The debate was entertaining though. |
| Anonymous #1105411 4 months ago |
just guesses: maybe this was the day rd did the sonicrainboom, or maybe the day the copyrighted recalled mlp episodes were brought back, or the day someone posted that post which nopony gives a flying feather about |
| Anonymous #1105436 4 months ago |
Well whatever it is it happened sometime between the airing Secret of My Excess and Hearth's Warming Eve meaning it can't be an episode. |
| Anonymous #1105501 4 months ago |
pr0tip: it goes in order of smallest unit of time to largest. (day < month < year) logical. I mean come on people |
| Anonymous #1105588 4 months ago |

| TheLoneLampman #1106331 4 months ago |
I number the way I say it.
December 15th, 2011. 12/15/11 |
| TheLoneLampman #1106333 4 months ago |
Besides, isn't that the format that computers use/have used for ages? |
