I make mine out of melted cheese, on a baking sheet. White cheddar for the center, sharp for the rays. I dust it with parmesan cheese, and bake 'em at 250 until it's fused together, then I drop the temp to 120 for a half hour. I serve after they're cooled. Nice and crispy cheese crisps. If you want, you can do 'em on top of saltine crackers or matzos, but you'll have to put them in the middle rack so nothing gets burnt. |
