"Aficionado" suggest you are a pro something, in this case "Miniature Equine". Not that you are a part of, or like something. So the syntax and context is not correct. Instead of "Aficionado", use "Devotee".
While yes, "Aficionado" is supposed to mean "a fan of something", in this case it's in the wrong context as it also means to be a pro, or of great knowing. Like Guru. |
