While you're laying there, panting lightly from the rousing fun you and she have only moments ago brought to an ecstatic close, you feel her breath brush the back of your neck. The warmth seeps into your bones, making everything inside you feel softer at once. You shiver with delight and comfort. Her breath, soft as a summer's mist, continues to caresses each little hair as nimbly as though she were running her claws up and down your fur. You're still surprised by just how gentle she can be. Then, taking your hooves into her claws with a tenderness that defies their sharpness, she nuzzles the tip of your ear before giving it a playful nibble. You stretch your back a little against her chest and let out a yawn, timidly, so as not to disrupt the moment. It doesn't matter. Nothing can disturb a moment like this. She draws you closer, tighter. Normally this would feel constricting, but for the moment you want only for her to absorb you into her downy feathers and fur as much as your two bodies will allow. You feel safer than you've ever known. Yet for all that protection her brawny frame affords you, there's not a hint of aggression lurking in her right now. Her claws tickles the palm of your hoof more delicately than the feathers on her chest might have done. You giggle slightly and suppress an urge to pull away before she begins to stroke your mane out from your eyes. Poignant thoughts swim through your mind, but as you look back and up into the gleaming yellow of those eyes of hers, normally so flushed with wildness, the gentle tincture of those glowing orbs tells you everything you could hope to know. Suddenly, she whispers, still clutching you like a furled lily, "Tell anypony about this and you're dead pony meat." You merely roll your eyes and pat her claws knowingly. It's the same thing she says every night. You give a louder yawn this time, and slowly seal your drooping lids completely. And as you smile drowsily to yourself, you think the same thing you think every night: To the world she might be half eagle, half lion, but to you she's all the love you'll ever need. The end. |
