I think some of those definitions were written by people who got called this way, and so, the definition they wrote was biased to make them(selves) look as relatively positive...
that being said... i think i may fit that description as well :P |

often some of the most interesting people if one actually talks to them.
I love it when people describe themselves this way. I think most people are kind of interesting, but being a wallflower myself, I can understand the desire to seem mysterious and wonderful. |

Huh, didn't know there was a word for that. I always thought of them as a friendly ghost, able to be more or less invisible most of the time but able to bring something interesting to a conversation if inclined to. |
