Adult Swim wasn't made for shitty, poorly made, stiff asian cartoons, it was made for quality shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force and uh......those other ones that weren't so good.......Birdman, Sealab *ugh*, The Brak Show *it wasn't that bad...* Space Ghost Coast to Coast (the greatest show ever made) was the real precursor to Adult Swim, not whatever late night blocks of awful jap cartoons used to be on in the 90's. You stupid people gotta learn your history right.
Besides, they've also given us Tim and Eric, The Venture Bros. and Metalocalypse. That's good shit, and if you disagree, you're a faggot. I'm sorry, but this can be scientifically proven. Me, I can personally still recall when Cartoon Network used to run the Toonami Midnight Run. I even taped all the uncut Gundam Wing episodes off of it. Back then we didn't have torrents or h264 or streaming video or youtube OR EVEN GRAINY REALVIDEO. We had overpriced dubbed VHS that made us shell out $25 for two episodes, and copies of copies of SLP quality fansubs littered with mistranslations. And we LIKED IT. |
