I could get behind the idea of Asian Twilight(as long as I don't consider the possibility that people are assigning her race based on personality stereotypes) but generally speaking I only care if she's light-skinned. Nothing against black people but I'm not attracted to them; and when you make the pony I'm attracted to the most a black human then I get a little bothered(especially since black Twi makes no sense logically speaking, to me anyway) but people are allowed to like whatever they want. |

^ Oh my god, get a grip. It's possible to not be attracted to a physical characteristic and still respect the person with that characteristic. Finding someone sexually attractive has absolutely zero to do with what you think about them as a person. |

*Sigh* I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I realized shortly after posting the comment that I'd probably overreacted. After dealing with racist shit plastered on picture after picture over time it feels like I can never look at an image of anyone not white without it containing bigotry and stupidity, and you know what makes it worse? Everything here is based on a cartoon show with multicolored ponies who celebrate their message of tolerating and loving and having their magic adventures and stuff, and the sheer level of hatred and scumbaggyness I come across on this site which revolves around that show like just crushes me inside. It's freaking depressing and only gets me frustrated, and it seems like no one else really even gives a damn. |

Why should you be attracted to black people to get behind the idea of black twilight? What makes an Asian or White Twilight so acceptable but a black twilight not? Isn't it a bit disingenuous to claim you're not attracted to a whole race of people as if you meet every single one of them to make that claim? What is SO unattractive and bothering about black people to you and what so "abnormal" about a black person with the personality of twilight? @Saufsoldat I’ll try a better response. No, it doesn’t make you racist to not be attracted to certain groups of black people (it doesn’t make sense to claim you have no attraction to entire group of people if you haven’t meet every single one of them). But it does make one suspect seeing it has to be stated every time there’s a fan art of twilight depicted as black. I’m starting to find this statement by some as an alternative to saying ”THOSE ICKY ICKY BLACK PEOPLE! MUST NOT SEE!”. I think it’s the other way around when you say “making something perfectly harmless out to be some kind of hateful bullshit”. It would have to be this way if most of you guys just leave fanart like this alone to people to do like the idea of black twilight. We’re not the ones continually bitching about someone having the “audacity” of depicting Twilight Sparkle in human form black nor the “ludicrous” idea that someone who is black having the personality of twilight. We’re not the ones claiming “attraction” on an issue that’s completely irrelevant.
