The truth is that Twilight Sparkle doesn't actually exist, she's a magical conjuration of the princess which holds a fragment of her consciousness, which she uses to live vicariously, experiencing all the things she cannot as an immortal ruling goddess, like friendship and living a relatively normal life with those friends. All those memories of her parents and getting into the school are artificial- it's been Celestia the whole time. |
