Think about it, they might of released the episode too early or forgot about it so they pulled the episode back, got a proper voice actress, fixed a naming inconsistency, and people created drama that was not there. |

Animation does take months to create, but all they had to do was re-skin the animated rig or whatever they use in Flash with another character. Basically the movement remained the same but they just re-colored it, so to speak. That takes a few hours for someone to do that...but since it's a big corporation with many employees it took them about a week or so. |

Yeah yeah... and if they somehow magically made the animimation in a week, that smooth, then it would have been Fluttershy stuffing Derpy in a mail box with a stamp on her butt and you'd all still be freaking because the new conspiracy would be they abused Derpy to give us pooooooor Bronies a slap in the face. |

The break between the two episodes was announced before the whole Derpy thing blew out of proportion.
Most TV shows have them. Hell, FiM has had 3 breaks (not counting the hiatus over Christmas) already, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's another one before the Cadence episodes. |

Plus, if they were going to replace Derpy, they wouldn't build a brand new pony model from scratch (he's noticeably different from the other male stallion models), they would've used a generic background pony or the other mail pony that was in The Last Roundup. |

It is actually plausible.
But very unlikely. Now, I didn't know the episodes took month to be made. That means a lot, you know... Like, if you do the maths, there are only 12 months in a whole year, but they are able to air 24~26 episodes that take months to be made in a year. So, they must have been making the episodes a couple of years before the first season aired, not to fall behind any kind of schedule. |

It's also unlikely because the Derpy edit was pretty sloppy. Could they have done a more complicated edit with a tighter timeframe?
It's more likely that they just weren't Derping it out as hard as that in the first place. |
