I'll be honest: Mr. Satan is probably my most favourite character in DBZ.
He's a gloating ass, but genuinly loves his daughter, he's a notorious lier, but actually uses a big lie to save the universe, he's one of the weakest fighters in the Z-verse, but honestly won the tenkaichi (is it called that way?) the last few years. Also, off all the characters he made me laugh the most XD |

Since this is a now a DBZ thread; I always thought that one of the two jokes this character has, that he's pathetically weak, never worked. He's actually really strong by a realistic standard and saying that's weak compared to fantasy super-powered kung-fu doesn't actually make him look very bad. |

Mr. Satan would actually teach Flutter the right way to be assertive, without being a dick about it. Because, regardless of how much of a self-absorbed ass he is, his heart is in the right place. And that's what really matters. |

Actually i think Satan/Hercules (or whatever he is called wherever) is one hell of a plothole.
In theory he's the strongest HUMAN. Is so then what's up with Yamcha (can fly and throw energy blasts) Tenshim (the bald dude with dots on his forehead) who also flies and throws energy blasts. Hell even his own daughter can do this after a relatively short training. If regular humans can learn to fly and fire lazors'n'shits then why noone (hint: daughter) managed to teach him even the simplest "magic" trick? |

The "bald dude with dots on his forehead" is named Krillin/Kuririn. Tienshinhan/Tenshinhan is the bald dude with the eye in his forehead. Also, Tien isn't an alien. |

Oh, he was my favourite in DBZ too! He appeared to be an idiot and a jerk, but he was a good guy and cared deeply for his daughter. And if it wasn't for him, the universe would be destroyed. |

I loved the episode where he beats the gun wielding bandits that harmed the little dog.
He makes it clear he really is among the strongest humans. Heck, if instead of brushing him aside at the end of the series, someone actually taught him how to use chi, he might have become a great fighter. Also, his heart was good enough that he made Boo change and start to care for others. That something most of the other warriors wouldn't be able to accomplish. (Goku might be able to...) |

@Silversoul666: Maybe not even Goku, despite having a genuinelly good heart, Goku still loves fighting more than anything, something Mr. Buu(the fat one, I like to call him like that) could misunderstand in his inoccence.
As for Tien, DBZ verse have antro dogs and rabbits as normal citizens, having one extra eye might be more common that we think. |
