To be honest, I don't care whether Lyra and Bonbon are in lesbians with each other, are heterosexual life partners, or even just friendly acquaintances. I like them either way. It's just that the butthurt displayed by people raging against LyraBon shipping is so delicious, I can't resist poking at them. |

Lyra and BonBon make a great couple. As someone who otherwise doesn't care at all about shipping, I stalwartly support Lyra-BonBon because it's such a great coupling. If there's any chance or ever getting even as much as a subtle, respectul reference of homosexuality as a perfectly normal thing on this show, it'd be through Lyra-BonBon. |

I'm not at all serious about shipping, especially ships involving the Mane Six or the Princesses - we all know that they Aren't Going To Happen.
But if you asked me about the canonical couples in MLP:FiM, I'd reflexively mention Lyra and Bon-Bon along with the Cakes or Twilight's folks. For some reason, they just *work* as partners, and apparently a lot of people agree with me! |

Most people would think of Lyra and Bon Bon being lesbians because of the lack of friendship acts, but I think they are just friends because of the lack of lesbian acts. Im an optimist :D |
