Ralph McQuarrie was the lead designer of the original Star wars Trilogy, his designs were essentials to create SW universe, he also painted a lot of the backgrounds on glass, long before CG-crap.

Jeez people, I'm not joking, I seriously meant that it is a major a loss. He did great work for an amazing franchise, and it is a terrible loss. I'm sorry, I guess I worded what I said in a bad way (now that I look at it, I can see why), but seriously, I just said I wasn't trying to be a jerk.
