Wouldn't Twilight be really old, if alive, by the time Spike is this size (in case he grows naturally, with no greed pushing him)? |

^ Only 8 or so years separate them in age, and we don't know if he'll have natural growth spurts by the time he's in his early 20s, so its unknown. I'd say its unlikely she'd be that old. |

^ We know a dragons size correlates with levels of greed. But what about growth? Perhaps Spike is a winged dragon, but while his body grew artificially, we don't know if it actually developed.
That all said, I guess wings would probably be something you're born with, unless Dragons go through some weird cocoon stage or something. |

Those aren't tiny arms, those are his legs. His "arms" are the wings. |
