Talking points: - In " Call of the Cutie", instead of politely accepting Applejack's apology and declining a few free apples, she kept staring daggers at AJ until she gave her several bushels of apples. - In "Green Isn't Your Color" she was quite rude to Rarity in her boutique while looking for Fluttershy. - In "Putting Your Hoof Down" she refused move out of the way for Fluttershy rather than move out of the way. - In "Putting Your Hoof Down" she (presumably along with Daisy) rudely tossed Fluttershy to the back of the audience at Iron Wills seminar.

As jimlahey mentioned, everyone was rude in Putting Your Hoof Down. That was pretty much what kept the plot moving towards the assertiveness seminar. Also, Bon Bon was apparently on good terms with the Apple family in The Last Roundup as she was with them to see Applejack off. She even went with the other ponies to find Applejack.

Pfft. I've been calling Bon Bon a bitch since season 1. I'm glad the other people are FINALLY starting to notice. Bon Bon has consistently been portrayed as a bitch. She has never (outside of the fandom) been shown to be actively "nice" to anypony. Sometimes she doesn't do anything at, but when she DOES do something, it's never nice, as is often rude.

It's funny because she gets portrayed as the simple, kind, straight pony to Lyra, but yeah, whenever she's given any more focus than just another background pony, she's not especially nice to be around. (When she DOESN'T talk, though, she's really happy and playful, so... who knows?)

It could have just been that time of the month for all of em this episode. Chicks can sync that shit. Or everyone was being a bitch due to move the plot along . As for Bonbon being a bitch, I think she has her rude moments like everyone else .

In my own head canon, Bonbon was born in Manehattan and later tried setting up her own candy shop in Ponyville. As a result, she'd got a bit of the "rude New Yorker" trope at work, as well as being very straightforward and no-nonsense. As a relatively new Ponyvillian, she might have a bit of a chip on her shoulder as well.

I like to think that Bon bon is indeed kind of a bitch, but with a soft and sweet center. And is distinctly more the girly girl in comparison to her JUST FRIEND Lyra who is hyperactive and friendly but also has a temper.
