This is why I hated this episode. A one-day talk with a minotaur made Fluttershy far meaner to her friends than getting taken over by Discord -- a creature so powerful and dangerous that he had to be turned to stone? Feh! |

Fluttershy did it of her own free will and even seemed to be enjoying herself Let's be honest, Discord probably only did a quick hypnotism job, counting on their infighting to drive them further apart. Couldn't take TOO long on this. He had an entire country to spread chaos to after all |

Sure, the ponies can act agaisnt their own nature, but it just ends up hurting them, either on the long run or the short run.
Although I feel Rarity's an exception. Unless flirting favors and items out of others is not an act of anti-generosity(can't remember the word). The only time I recall rarity getting a comeuppance is during the events of Sweet and Elite and to some extent, Sisterhooves Social. |
