I really loved it how he always ended up acting like a good guy.

I think he's definitely an antagonist, it's just that he's actually a pretty nuanced character.
Like, he gives terrible advice and anybody who follows it will suffer for it. He's also generally kind of an asshole. It's really awesome that he wasn't just a slobbering evil meathead though. |

And he's not a traditional antagonist in the sense that he's directly responsible for everything bad that happens in the episode. |

I dont think hes an atognist. I thought Fluttershy's supressed bitch self was the bad guy.
His Semanir WORKED, its just he didn't include instructions on how not be a jerk, and his 100% satisfaction garuntee bit him in the ass. If he was a bad guy, i dont see why he'd live up to that |

Iron Will is clearly not a true antagonist. If he were a straight-up antagonist like Discord, he would've just tossed his 100% satisfaction promo gimmick out the window and taken Fluttershy's money by force. The dude is simply a pro wrestler-style businessman - loud, narcissistic and hilarious, but still true to his word. |

That's really, though. Like, if these guy were a martial arts instructor, he'd be the kind that lead impressionable young people to hurt people or get themselves killed trying to fight someone they shouldn't. |
