I think this whole "brony" phenomenon will never die down because of the fact that we support everyone who works on the show and mostly because of Lauren Faust.
And if we ever saw the very last episode of MLP: FiM, it WILL be the end of an era, and even after that, we'll just remember of all the greatest times we've had being a brony with all the conventions, all the pony memes and jokes, fanarts, fan videos, ask blogs, fan merchandise and all the talk about Derpy, Lyra, Bon Bon, Doctor Whooves, DJ-PON3, Octavia and others. Much like we still remember about the Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, I'm sure that the support of the show will get stronger and stronger by the episode despite of all the controversy and conflicts. If you want to be brony for life, go for it. But please, go easy on the hate. |

I won't be a brony forever, I am just a few years away from ripping a hole in time and space and discovering 7th dimensional travel. Once that happens I will go to a universe where they have the technology to turn humans into ponies and ascend past bronyhood into a full fledged pony. Then I will travel to Equestria and marry Pinkie Pie and be best friends with the mane six and creep everyone out in town so much that they make me leave.

well i imagine it'll last until the series is cancelled, maybe a few years afterwards but unless it becomes a franchise like star trek or something (which... could happen, but I doubt it), I doubt many people will be bronies by the time they die (unless they get leukemia or something I guess). |
