Different name, same sort of shit. It's not about defeating one piece of legislation; rather, it's about pushing back against stupidity for a reasonable copyright (18-36 years, not life of the author + 70-90; no penalties for circumvention of protection mechanisms, since there are legitimate uses of this technology; etc.). |
