I think it's done to signify her abilities with magic. Often people use wands to represent it, but in reality it's not much more out of place than humans with wings. I agree with you that it doesn't always work though. |

@Deepermadness: I personally thought the little gem on the forehead as a stand in for a horn was cute and more clever, but maybe that's just me. I see what you mean though, trying to signify her abilities with magic or something, perhaps more thought needs to be put into the idea. |

I agree that the humanized unicorns need some kind of marking, but horns just don't seem right to mee. I like how Whirly did it with her humanizations, where they have a magiv mark under there eye. >>49713 It's not the best version, but the updated Twilight isn't on here. Personally, I think an amulet or hair ornament do quite well as ways to show they're magically inclined. Mind you, I wouldn't quite know how to implement it with Rarity, seeing as she can sew properly with hands. |
