Well the samples look rather tame, not even exposed breasts and it's for a charity. However, I'm not sure if it's a good idea and try to sell erotic drawing of children cartoon characters.
Will the charity even accept that donation? Will Hasbro try to stop them from selling that book? Why does it have to be pin-up stuff? Couldn't it be just "normal" humanizations or Pony artwork? Some people already have a bad opinion about Bronies and I doubt that this book will help to change that view. |

No. A lot of the fandom are adults. Many of which even came from the likes of /b/. This is largely a fandom only thing. And again, I doubt they'd blare it loud that this subsection of the fandom donated. There's actually some more public brony donation/charity drives going on in other brony sites including Equestria Daily. |

@#1091355: This is not "softcore porn." There is not going to be any porn or graphic nudity in the book-- it's cheesecake, plain and simple. Would you feel disturbed by a bikini carwash that is raising money for a children's hospital? This is a bunch of artists who are good at drawing sexy women, who are using their talents to help out kids. If this book did actually contain pornography, you might have a point, but it does not. |
