^ Incidentally, Dr. Strangelove originally WAS planned to end with a giant pie-fight scene. It was cut for being "too cartoonish". |

That and the Pie scene included a moment where the President is hit in the face with pie prompting General Turgidson to say, "Gentlemen! Our gallant young president has been struck down in his prime!" And then the JFK assignation happened and the Columbia Pictures thought it would offend the president's family |
