In Japan he was called Mr Satan.
In the US there would been a shitstorm for little kids to be saying "I want a mr satan toy" so they chose something less Satanic sounding, Hercule which is Hercules without the S. But they didn't alter the art in the show, too much work so Yes, Satan is on the back of the robe still. Basically Mr Satan is Hercule and the difference is the translator's attempt to placate the whiny little bitches who doesn't even have a television or would watch the show but still get thier granny panties in a knot over some little reason like Bert and Ernie sharing a room on Sesame Street...
