The most amazing part, to me, about all the images crying about Derpy being changed is that being modified in one episode affects fan portrayals in absolutely no way whatsoever, but all the artsts are letting it affect their portrayal anyway, by drawing responses wherein derpy is a horrible sadsack. |

Well the only bad thing that happened was removing her name from the episode.
Fixing her eyes was kinda sad. The new voice seems better. Seriously that deep tone was... well it was a misunderstanding because the VA thought she was voicing a MALE. |

In my opinion, her first voice was cute and tomboyish. Now she sounds like a dumb teenager. It's...decent, but I cringe when she says "Oops, my bad!" It sounds awful. |

Yes, but what I mean is that every one looks at her differently. There is all types of different fanon for her. Some people make Dinky her daughter, but a lot of other people hate that fanon. You get what I mean? |

and what I'm saying is that there's no longer a middle ground. Either derpy is CONSTANTLY CRYING OVER THE SMALLEST THING, or she's CONSTANTLY CRYING ABOUT BEING CHANGED.
Either way she's a depressing sad sack and completely unlikable now. |
