Heh... you know, wouldn't it suck if they decided to... I dunno... just remove that part of the song where it said that...? I bet the whole fandom would explode with rage if that happened...
I mean, EqDaily would end up posting about it, Ponibooru would be flooded with "Save the 'brony' line!" images and such... And we'd never hear the end of it...

...Yeah... That would suck...
Good thing nothing like that will ever happen!

Pinkie has said it, it's permanently etched into history!

Well now I feel bad for not knowing because of the slowpoke picture, but where did Hasbro say "bronies"?

^The "Equestria Girls" song from way back when.

I didn't know about the song but Hasbro's official MLP site has a Brony section right on the front page, so I'm at least aware that the term is long acknowledged by them.

Oh, I heard they used "DJ-PON3" in it too!

pfft... that's nothing, it'd be cool if they put Derpy in an episode for 5 minutes and give her a voice... like that will ever happen.

Yeah, that would show how they care 605.

Sure. Keep attacking Hasbro instead of the assholes that cornered them in the first place.

^ Yeah, how wrongheaded of us to those who made the decision instead of the few score people who prompted them to.

A few minutes ago I ran across a story of a socially conservative organization demanding that Archie Comics recall a same-sex wedding issue. The Archie CEO basically told them to go to hell.

To be fair, I don't know all the circumstances. Maybe it was pretty safe of Archie to defy that pressure, plus the issue was an entire release, not a single scene, but still, a childish, idealized fiction series faced larger, better organized antagonism then what went against Derpy and they didn't back down.

Look. Yes they made the final call on it, but how can you blame them more than those that started this whole situation? Hasbro was on defense for this one.
